2013-14 - Indoor - Helped the Lions win the DMR and 4x4 events at the MSSU "Southern" Invite, where she also won the 400m event (58.90) and set a career-best long jump of 5.83m... Finished fifth in the 400m event with a time of 59.03 at the 2014 Jayhawk Classic... Helped the Lions win the 4x4 relay at the MSSU Lion Invite, where she was also apart of the DMR team that placed second... Won the MSSU Lion Invite 400m event with a time of 57.25... Placed first and secon respecitvely in the 400m event (56.73) and the triple jump (11.78) at the 2014 OBU Indoor Invitational... Finished fourth in the Nebraska Tune Up 400m with a time of 56.17... Helped the Lions finish third in the DMR event at the MIAA Championships, where she also set a career best triple jump with a 11.91m (39-1) fourth place finish... Recieved All-MIAA honors with a second place finish in the 400m event (55.90)... Finished fourth at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships with a time of 55.25... Outdoor - Won the 400m event with a time 56.37 at the PSU "Wendy's" Invite, where she also placed third in the 200m with a time of 25.03... Placed first and third respectively in the 200m (24.85) and 400m (56.83) events athe State Farm Emporia State Relays... Won both the 400m (55.68) and 200m (24.66) events at the Missouri S&T "Dewey Allgood" Invite... Won the MSSU Invite 400m event with a time of 55.43... Set a career-best 24.46 time in the 200m event at the MSSU Invite placing third... Finished fourth with a career-best 54.77 time in the 400m event at the MIAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, where she also finished fourth and fifth respectively in the 200m event (24.92) and triple jump (11.60m)... Finished 17th in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships 400m event with a time of 56.10...
2012-2013: Indoor: Competed in the 400 meters at the MIAA Championships where she finished 15th in a time of 1:00.42... Took second in the triple jump with a jump of 11.12m (36-05.75) and eighth in the long jump (16-03) at the UCM Invite... Competed in both the long and triple jumps at the MSSU Lion Invite taking fourth in the TJ (37-00.50) and 12th in the LJ (16-06) while running the 400m finishing third in a time of 59.42... Finished eighth in the 400m at the KU Relays running 1:00.38... Competed in the 400m (1:00.50), triple jump (11.05m) and long jump (4.94m) at the Missouri Invitational.... Finished second in the 600 yard run (1:31.79)while also triple jumping 4.67m (15-04) at the MSSU Open Invitational... Took third in the 400m (59.61), fourth in the triple jump (36-04.75) and fifth in the long jump (17-06.75) at the MSSU Early Bird Open... Outdoor: Competed in the long jump at the season-opening PSU Wendy's Invite jumping 5.23m.
2011-2012: Indoor: Ran 1:00.6 in the 400 meters at the MIAA Championships ... Took third at the UCM Classic in the 400m in 1:00.86 ... Took second in the triple jump at the MSSU Invite in 10.92m (35-10), while also competing in the long jump in a distance of 4.94m (16-02.5) ... Took fourth in the triple jump in 10.71m (35-01.75) at the Lion Open.... Outdoor: Took sixth at the MIAA Championships in the triple jump with a jump of 11.64m (38-2.25) ... Took fourth in the triple jump at the Emporia State Twilight Meet with a jump of 11.15m (36-7) ... Took third in the triple jump with a jump of 11.66m (38-3.25) and sixth in the long jump with a jump of 5.31m (17-5.25) at the Williams/Leptad Invite ... Took fifth in the triple jump at the John McDonnell Invite with a leap of 11.17m (36-7.75) ... Took third in the triple jump at the Pitt State Gorilla Classic with a jump of 11.45m (37-6.75).
Prior to Southern: Attended Cuba High School and ran for coaches Beth Auchly and Mark Ness. A four-time letterwinner in track, White also lettered twice in cross country. She was the 2009 and 2010 Missouri State Champion in the triple jump, while being a 12-time conference champion. She's been a four-time district champion and a nine-time state qualifier in track. She also qualified for the state meet in cross country in each of her freshman and sophomore campaigns. White holds the school record for the triple jump, as well as the 200m, 800m and the 4x200m relay. She helped her track team to two conference championships and one district championship, while helping the cross country team to a seventh-place finish in 2007. Also a four-year letterwinner on the basketball team, she led the team in assists in both her sophomore and junior seasons, while helping to lead the team to three-straight conference championships.
Personal: The daughter of Keven and Denise White, Amber is undecided on a future major at Southern.
