Prior to Southern - As a freshman at Seminole, Osburn hit .220 in 23 games, while scoring 13 runs and driving in ten. Prior to Seminole, Osburn prepped at Broken Arrow High School and played for coach Shannon Dobson where he started for three years, earning four letters for the Tigers. As a senior, he hit .380, while earning All-Metro, All-State and Under Armor All-American honors. He helped his team to three regional championships and three trips to the state semi-finals.

Personal - The son of Jeff and Miriam Osburn, Mitch plans to major in criminal justice at Southern.
