Prior to Southern - Vaughn comes to Southern after two years at East Georga College in Swainsboro, Ga. Last season at EGC, Vaughn saw action in 26 games, throwing 50.1 innings en route to a 5-1 record. He struck out 55, while walking just 26 and finished the season with a 3.22 ERA and six saves. He holds the school record for most career innings pitched, most career appearances, most appearances in a season and most saves in both a season and a career. A native of Guyton, Ga., Vaughn went to South Effingham High School.
