Lions baseball change weekend schedule

Joplin, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern baseball team has altered its weekend schedule with Nebraska-Kearney with the impending weather that should hit Joplin tonight and tomorrow. 

Originally slated to have a single, nine-inning game on Friday, Feb. 22, and a double-header on Saturday the 23rd, the Lions will now push those dates one day back. 

Southern will now play a single, nine-inning game on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 2 pm and then will play two games, a seven and a nine-inning affair on Sunday beginning at 1 pm.
