Southern baseball adds non-conference game against Nebraska-Kearney

Joplin, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern baseball team has added a game to its schedule this week. 

The Lions will now entertain Nebraska-Kearney in a non-conference game at 3 pm on Thursday, March 7 at Joe Becker Stadium. 

Southern and UNK lost a three-game conference series earlier in the season to snow. Because conference games cannot be made up, this single, nine-inning game will be a non-league game.
