Southern baseball games moved to Lincoln due to weather issues

Joplin, Mo. -- Due to the winter weather that is coming through Joplin today, as well as the rain that is planned for this weekend, the baseball series with Lincoln University has been moved to Jefferson City in an attempt to get the games in.

Originally scheduled for two games on Saturday and a single game on Sunday in Joplin, the two teams will now play one game on Friday at 3 pm and a double-header on Saturday beginning at noon.

Southern is 11-11 overall and is 7-9 in the MIAA after a mid-week split at Northeastern State.
