Southern baseball series pushed back once again

Joplin, Mo. -- Mother Nature has once again forced changes to the Missouri Southern baseball weekend schedule as the MIAA Tournament series with Northeastern State has been pushed back a day.

Due to the snow that came into the Joplin area overnight, the series will now start on Saturday afternoon with a single, nine-inning game at 3 pm in Joe Becker Stadium.

The Lions and RiverHawks will then play game two on Sunday at noon with game three, if necessary, to be played after the conclusion of game two.

Stay tuned to for any further changes if they should happen.
