Pearl is the brother of current Lion defensive lineman Maurice ... Ed played for coach Ryan Schwartz at Fort Osage where he was an All-Conference and All-Area wide receiver in 2007, but made the switch to quarterback in his final two seasons ... He was an honorable mention All-Conference QB as a junior, while being named first team All-Conference, Conference MVP, second-team All-Area and All-State as a senior ... the son of Maurice Sr. and Linda Pearl, he is undecided on his future major at Southern.
