Southern football announces 2010 Football Signing Class
Joplin, Mo. - Missouri Southern football coach Bart Tatum has announced the signing of 26 high school athletes and three junior college athletes today.
Three of the four junior college athletes are on campus and enrolled already, with the fourth coming in the summer, and will participate in spring practice, while the other 26 high school players will begin in the fall.
"I believe we've met our needs," Tatum said. "We had a strong need at defensive end and needed to pick up a couple of good young offensive lineman which I believe we did and we've got a good nucleus of fast young players and I believe this signing class is going to solidify our speed and quickness as a team."
The list is comprised of high school players from the states of Missouri, Arkansas, Texas and Florida, while the junior college transfers are all from schools in California and Kansas.
