2010 - Howard returns under center in 2011 for MSSU. He finished the season with 2,196 yards passing and 11 scores in 11 games. Howard is arguably better with his feet than his arm and it showed last season when he toted the ball for six more scores.
2009 – Opened the season as the starter at quarterback, starting the first four games, before suffering a knee injury that limited his action until the season finale … completed 73-136 passes for a team high ten touchdowns on the season … averaged 171.6 yards per game … threw for four touchdowns on 204 yards passing against Emporia State in week three.
In 2008: Showed great promise as backup quarterback and will enter the 2009 season as the starting signal-caller for the Lions ... made big splash in Lions' week two win over Haskell with three touchdowns and 105 yards rushing ... had a 30- yard TD scamper in MSSU's 28-0 week seven win at Fort Hays and a 43-yard score against No. 3-ranked Northwest Missouri State in season finale ... made first impact throwing the football by completing 10-of-17 passes with two touchdowns vs. Central Missouri in week eight ... also rushed for 70 yards against UCM.
In 2007: Howard redshirted.
In high school: Helped lead the Cardinals of Coach John Roderique to the Missouri Class 4A state championship in 2006... was all-state and all-conference selection and was named Offensive Player of the Year in Class 4A...named Joplin Globe's offensive player of the year...selected the Gatorade Player of the Year in Missouri as well as the Missouri Sportswriters and Broadcasters Association player of the year...also was a first-team all-conference selection in basketball.
