2011: Johnson played in nine games as a redshirt freshman and caught one pass for a six yard touchdown. 

In High School: Johnson played for coach Wes Bouchler at Parkview High School in Springfield ... Also a basketball player, Johnson was an All-District, All-Conference and All-State defensive end
