2010 - Williams returns for his senior season in 2011 as the Lions’ most experienced linebacker. In 2010, Williams recorded 42 tackles (26 of them unassisted) and six tackles for loss. In the season opener last season against Minnesota-Moorhead, Williams recorded his only interception of the season and returned it 39 yards in a 30-0 Southern victory.

2009: Saw action in nine games, starting every game … was seventh on the team in tackles with 55 total, including 21 solo and 34 assisted … had two tackles for a loss, one interception and one quarterback hurry … had a career game in the season finale where he recorded a career-high and MSSU 2010 season high 17 tackles, including 1.5 for a loss.

In 2008: Saw time as both linebacker and running back as a true freshman last year, but will be counted only as a linebacker for the upcoming 2009 season … appeared in all 11 games and made four tackles, including three solo stops … also filled as a running back, gaining 34 yards on five carries.


In high school: Williams played for coach Chris Hutchings at Fort Pierce Central HS …  Williams was an All-Conference and  All-Area selection , as well as a member of the Outback All-Star team as a senior  … He recorded 108 tackles, including 14 for loss and two sacks last year …  Also served as a fullback for Fort Pierce Central and had a rushing touchdown  … Williams was also a member of the wrestling and track and field teams at Fort Pierce Central.
