Daryl Daye named new head football coach at Missouri Southern
Missouri Southern State University Director of Athletics Jared Bruggeman has announced today the hiring of former Southern defensive coordinator Daryl Daye as the 11th head football coach in Missouri Southern history. Daye is currently the assistant to the head coach for the NFL's Buffalo Bills. His first official day at MSSU will be January 2.

Head Football Coach Bart Tatum resigns from Head Coaching position at Southern
Missouri Southern head football coach Bart Tatum has announced his resignation as of Monday, November 14, 2011. He will remain with Missouri Southern Athletics as a football consultant during the transition period and until such time as a new head coach is named. Tatum’s shift to the role of football consultant begins immediately.
