2010 - Herndon was 10-for-13 on field goal attempts as the Lions’ kicker in 2010. He was a perfect 2-for-2 on tries from 40 yards or longer. He was also 29-for-30 on point after attempts.

Prior to Southern – Herndon started three years and earned four letters as a kicker and a punter at Harrisonville High School in Harrisonville, Mo. For coach Chuck Litteras … He also lettered one year in both soccer and basketball, while earning three letters in track … on the football field, he was a first team All-Conference pick in 2007-08, while earning All-District and All-State honors in each of those years … he was also an academic all-conference pick in 2008 … he holds the school record for most PAT’s in a season and a career, while also holding the record for most touchbacks in both a season and a career … He helped lead HHS to three-straight state titles in 2005-07, while earning conference championships in all four years and district titles in three years.

Personal – Herndon is the son of Troy and Michelle Smith and is a marketing major at Southern.
