Southern football adds another signee for 2013

Joplin, Mo. -- Missouri Southern head football coach Daryl Daye has announced the addition of another player in his 2013 recruiting class. 

Spencer Trumbly is a 6-2, 265 pound offensive lineman from Paola, Kan. and he transfers to Southern from Fort Scott Community College.

Trumbly was a two-year starter for the Greyhounds and coach Curtis Horton at Fort Scott CC.  He was an All-Conference selection this past year. Trumbly is a graduate of Paola High School in Paola, Kan. where he played for coach Mike Dumpert and the Panthers. While there, he was an All-District and All-State pick. He was a four-year state qualifier in wrestling and an All-Conference pick there. Trumbly is the son of Jeff and Vicky Trumbly.
