In 2010-11: As a true freshman made an immediate impact earning the 2010-11 MIAA Freshman of the Year Award while starting in all 31 games for the Lions…scored in double figures 17 out of the 31 games…had the best game of his young career percentage wise in a 90-78 win at Pittsburg State going 3-for-3 from the field including 2-for-2 from three point range and 2-for-2 from the charity stripe, finished the game with 10 points, six assists, four rebounds, and a steal…second best free throw average on the team with .816 on the season went perfect from the line 12 times for a total of 44-of-44 out of his 81-for-99 season performance…in a 82-64 win over Fort Hays on 1/10/11 he went a perfect 8-for-8…pulled down a career high 7 rebounds against Emporia State on 2/12/11…recorded eight steals in the MIAA opener at Truman on Dec. 1…scored a season high 17 points twice in a 90-73 win over Washburn on Jan. 8 and at Nebraska Omaha a week later, Jan. 15…set his career mark in field goals made at Nebraska Omaha with a 7-for-11 performance in the 98-95 win and went 7-for-12 in a 83-70 win over Truman on Jan. 22…set career mark in assists in a 83-62 win at Missouri Western on Feb. 5.
In High School: played for coach Jim Carr at Olathe South High School where he averaged 12.8 pts., 3.3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2.1 steals last season ... He was a second-team Kansas 6A All-State selection and was also an All-State pick on the football field, staring as a wide receiver for the Falcons.
