In 2010-11: Started in 21 out of 23 MIAA games while playing in 30 out of the Lions’ 31 contests…averaged 15.5 minutes per game with a season high 25 minutes against Pittsburg State on Jan 2…Talbert’s best game of his young Lions’ career came in the first round of the MIAA Post-Season Tournament on Mar. 3 vs. Southwest Baptist as he went 3-for-4 from the field, 4-for-4 from the free throw line, with four rebounds, four blocks and 10 points…set career high mark in rebounds with 9 at Fort Hays State on Feb. 19..recorded three assists twice on the year vs. Washburn on Jan. 8 and against Fort Hays State in the MIAA Post-Season Championship game on Mar. 6.
