Lions place 11th at Red River Intoercollegiate
Thackerville, Okla. -- The Missouri Southern golf team faced tough weather conditions and placed 11th at the 2010 Red River Intercollegiate played at the Winstar Golf and Country Club.
Rain forced the first round to be delayed into Tuesday and teams finished up the first round and played a final round of 18 holes.
Taylor Griffith, playing as an individual, led the Lions with a two-day total of 155. Jamie Voegeli finished with a 159, while Seve Smith shot a 160.
Stephen Boyd and David Eddy both shot a two-day 161, while Andy Hogenmiller finished with a 166.
The Lions will be back in action in two weeks when Southern travels to Wichita Falls, Texas to compete in the Midewestern State Invitational on March 22-23.
