Lions Golf Finishes Fourth at Dave Falconer Memorial Invite

Danville, Ark. -- The Missouri Southern golf team finished fourth at the Dave Falconer Memorial Invite hosted by Arkansas Tech University on Chamberlyne Country Club. 

Three Lions finished in the top 20 as junior Ryan Buerk finished tied for seventh with an overall 150 (76-74), while redshirt freshman Skyler Arbuckle (76-79) and senior Andy Hogenmiller (76-79) finished tied for 20th with 155.

Juniors Andrew Maier (77-80) and Ryan Russell (79-78) finished with an overall 157 and tied for 31st just two strokes out of the top 20.

The Lions, as a team, finished fourth with a team total of 615, one shot ahead of Southeastern Oklahoma and host Arkansas Tech. Midwestern (Texas) State finished first with 594 followed by Henderson State with 602 and Southwestern Oklahoma State with 603. 

Arkansas Tech's B team and Lincoln finished in seventh, while Southern Nazarene, Missouri Western, Ouachita Baptist, Southern Arkansas, and Purdue-North Central finished out the field.

The Lions will be back in action March 25-26 at the University of Arkansas-Ft. Smith Lions Classic at the Hardscrabble Country Club in Ft. Smith, Ark.
