In High School - he was a four-year letter-winner for coach Dennis Whitehead at Ash Grove High School. An All-State selection in his junior and senior years in the triple jump, he finished 8th as a junior and fourth this past season. He was also an all-state finisher in the long jump and the 400m. He was an All-District and All-Sectional selection and holds the school record in the triple jump at 45-5. Reece was also a three-year starter on the basketball court and played one year of football at Ash Grove.

Personal - a middle school education major...born March 19, 1992 in Ash Grove, Mo...son of Mike and Lisa Reece...has two brothers, Josh and Drew...father was an All-American track athlete at Pittsburg State 1978-81 and his mother was an All-American softball player at Missouri State 1976-80.
