Juergens in 7th place after day one of Indoor Heptathlon

Warrensburg, Mo. -- Missouri Southern's Michael Juergens is in 7th place after day one of the 2011 MIAA Indoor Heptathlon at the MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships held at Central Missouri. 

Juergens placed fourth in the long jum, sixth in the shot put and seventh in the high jump and is in seventh place with 2634 points after day one of the heptathlon. Caleb Carney is in 12th place with 2214 points. 

The two athletes will finish up the heptathlon tomorrow morning with the 60m hurdles, the pole vault and the 1000 meters before the rest of the meet will start.
