Men's track in sixth after day two of MIAA Championships

Warrensburg, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern men's track and field team is in sixth place with 13 points after day two of the 2011 MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships at the University of Central Missouri. 

Corey Reynolds finished third in the high jump and picked up All-MIAA status with a jump of 6-9. Clark Tanksley was fifth in the event, also earning points for the Lions. 

James Coleman finished fifth in the shot put, while Nick Grosso was ninth and Jerry Jones was sixth in the triple jump with a distance of 46-1.25. Jake Benton finished fifth in the 5k with a time of 15:25.97.

In other action, Kevin Wright qualified for the finals of the 60m dash, while Viktor Kuk qualified for the finals of the 800m. 

The team will wrap up the Indoor Championships tomorrow.
