Prior to Southern: Albright was a two-time state champion in the long jump at Galena High School ... He holds the school records for the long jump (24-1) and the triple jump (43-8) ... He was a four-year letterwinner on the track and field team, while starting three years on the football team and two on the basketball squad ... He also medaled in the triple jump and was part of the fifth place 4x100m relay team.
