2011-2012: Outdoor: Narrowly missed out on being an All-American in pole vault, taking 13th at the NCAA Championships in pole vault clearing a height of 15-7 .... Runner-up in the pole vault at the Pitt State Gorilla Classic vaulting 4.8m (15-9) ... Tied for 7th at the PSU Wendy's Open vaulting 4.35m (14-03.25) ... Vaulted 4.71m (15-05.5) at the John McDowell Invite, taking 6th place

2010-2011: Outdoor: Pole Vaulted 16'6.75" while qualifying at Arkansas Spring Invitational (4/2/11)...Indoor: Qualified in the Hepathon while taking 8th place and scoring 4626 points for the Southern Lions at the MIAA Conference Championships (2/25/11)... Juergens landed another qualification at the MIAA Conference CHampionships (2/25/11) in the pole vault at 16'0.75"... Clocked at 8.81 in the 60m hurdles at Central Missouri Men's Mule Relay (1/29/11). Juergens was All-Conference at the MIAA Indoor Championships in the Pole Vault...

 2009-10:  Indoor: Ran the 60m Hurdles in 9.06 at Radio Shack Invite (1/22/10-1/23/10)… Juergens vaulted at the Mule Relays (2/6/10) with a height of 15-07.00… Competed at the MIAA Indoor Championships (3/1/10) in Pole Vault with a mark of 15-03.50  Outdoor: Juergens competed at ESU Last Chance (5/15/10) in the Pole Vault event and hit a mark of 4.72m… With a mark of 4.83m at MIAA Championship (5/8/09-5/9/09) he competed in the Pole Vault event…

In High School: Juergens is a native of St. Clair, Mo. and was a four-year letterwinner in track and three-year winner in football at St. Clair High School ... A multi event runner at St. Clair, he was an All-State pick his freshman year, as well as All-Conference and All-District ... He holds the school record in the pole vault, vaulting to a height of 14-6 ... Juergens also helped his team to four-straight conference championships in track, and a quarterfinal appearance in football.
