Prior to Southern: Moore transfers to Southern from Hutchinson Community College and will have one year of eligibility left for the Lions ... at Hutch, Moore was a conference and regional champion in the shot put and placed 7th at the national championships, earning All-America honors, as well.

In High School: Moore was a football and track and field athlete at Washington Park High School in Racine, Wisc., where he helped his football team to the second-round of the 2008 playoffs ... On the football field, he was an All-Conference and All-County Selection ... As a track and field athlete, he was a two-time All-County and All-Conference pick, while earning All-State honors in the shot put where he was the state runner-up in 2008. 

Personal: Moore is the son of Eugene and Gaylynn Moore ... he is a criminal justice major at Southern.
