Fraley picks up provisional in day one at the MSSU Invite

Joplin, Mo. -- Missouri Southern sophomore Jeff Fraley hit a provisional mark in the prelims of the 60m dash as the Lions competed in day one of the MSSU Invite. 

Fraley qualified for the finals of the event and bettered his provisional with a time of 6.86. He will race in the finals tomorrow afternoon. Freshman Erron Holley also qualified with Fraley for the finals in the 60m dash with a time of 6.97.

Jazz Allen qualified and had the top time in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.35, while Jayce Thomas also qualified in the event, clocking in at 8.59. Holley placed third in the 200m dash with a provisional time of 22.59, while Clark Tanksley placed fifth. 

The Lions had seven place in the top ten in the long jump as Jacob Rowe led the effort with a third place finish and a distance of 22-06.50. Jayce Thomas was fourth, while Michael Juergens and Darion Boure tied for fifth. JJ Jones and Trey Dorsey tied for 10th. 

Evan Moore placed second in the weight throw with a distance of 56-6, while Dustin Green was fourth at 53-02.25. Seth Hackney was ninth and Nicklas Polizzi placed 11th. 

The distance medley relay team of Alex Mason, Anthony Price, Logan Garrett and Andrew Webster placed second, while the team of Miles Migliara, Dorsey, Sam Pogue and Colton Wooldridge placed third.
