Warrensburg, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern men's track and field team picked up seven All-MIAA performances and finished third in the team standings at the 2013 MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships today in Warrensburg.
Jeff Fraley finished first in the 200m (21.73) and second in the 60m dash with a time of 6.83 to earn All-MIAA honors in each event. His time in the 200m converts to a 21:35 for use with a banked track and is just .05 off of an automatic qualfiying mark. He currently ranks fifth in the 200m and 13th in the 60m.
Jacob Rowe placed sixth in the long jump with a distance of 22-04.25. Michael Juergens was second in the pole vault with a provisional height of 16-03.25, while John Lowe was sixth with a provisional height of 15-07.25. The mark for Juergens ranks him 13th in the event nationally.
Evan Moore placed seventh in the weight throw with a distance of 55-10.25, while Dustin Green was ninth. Jazz Allen was 8th in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.37, while Anthony Price and Tanksley finished fifth and sixth in the 400m dash.
The men's mile relay team of Fraley, Price, Migliara and Tanksley placed fifth with a time of 3:24.15.
Southern will now wait to see which of its athletes will qualify for the National Championships in Birmingham, Alabama March 8-9.
