Las Vegas, Nev. -- The Missouri Southern men's track and field team picked up five more titles and five provisional marks at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas Invitational on Saturday.
The Lions' throwers again shined this weekend as Seth Hackney won the shot put with a provisional mark of 54-11.50. Dusin Green was second with a provisional mark of 54-06.00, while Evan Moore placed third with a provisional distance of 53-03.75.
Green picked up a win and a provisional in the discus with a distance of 167-05, while Nicklas Polizzi placed second. Zach Williams was second in the javelin, while Darion Boure won the triple jump with a provisional distance of 48-06.75.
Clark Tanksley won the long jump and the high jump, hitting a distance of 23-00.50 in the long jump and 6-06.75 in the high jump. Taylor McClelland, Boure and Dominique Jenkins placed 3-4-5 in the long jump.
Erron Holley was second in the 100m dash with a time of 10.90, while Tanksley and Anthony Price placed second and third in the 400m run. Andrew Webster and Jake Benton placed second and third in the 1,500m.
Southern will be back in action on March 30, participating in the PSU Wendy's Open.
