Men's cross country picked sixth in the USTFCCCA preseason region rankings
Joplin, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern men's cross country program has been ranked sixth in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association preseason South Central Region Poll.
The Lions, ranked second in the MIAA preseason poll, are one of five MIAA teams in the poll, joining Cental Missouri (2nd), Northwest Missouri (7th), Pittsburg State (8th), and Southwest Baptist (9th).
Southern opens up the regular season on September 2 at the University of Arkansas. The complete regional poll is listed below.
