Men's Cross Country heads to Oklahoma State

Joplin, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern men's cross country program will be in action this Saturday as the Lions will travel to Stillwater, Okla. to compete in the Oklahoma State University Jamboree.

The Lions, fresh off a dual win over Pittsburg State last week, moved up three spots this week in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Asociation South Central Region Poll.

Southern is fourth this week after being in seventh in the opening poll. Fellow MIAA member Central Missouri is the top team in the region with East Central following at No. 2. Eastern New Mexico is three, followed by Southern, Pittsburg State, Northwest Missouri, Harding, Cameron, Southwest Baptist and Truman.
