Schott places third as Lions open cross country season at Arkansas

Fayetteville, Ark. -- Missouri Southern sophomore Eric Schott placed third with a time of 20:29.8 as the Lions started the 2012 season in a duel at the University of Arkansas. 

Schott traversed the 6600m course in just over 30 seconds behind the leader. Adrian Todd finished eighth in a time of 21:18.3, while Andrew Webster placed ninth with a time of 21:28. 

Colton Wooldridge, Jake Benton, Ryan Jackson and Nathan Henry placed 11th-14th. 

The Razorbacks finished with 18 points, while the Lions had 43. 

The Lions will be back in action on September 15 running in the First to the Finish Southern Stampede.
