2009- Clute earned All-MIAA honors after leading the Lions in home runs (9), RBI (32), and doubles (13) as a junior. Clute stepped up in a big way for Bill Gray's squad after the injury to offensive stalwart Angie Turner. But her contributions didn't end at the plate, she was also the Lions' most effective pitcher. Clute finished the season with 31 appearances on the mound including 21 starts. She finished 13-10 with a 2.31 ERA, she finished second on the team with 50 strikeouts and tied for the team lead with nine complete games.

Community College and another at Crowder College ... At Labette,
Clute was an honorable-mention All-Region selection, after hitting
three home runs ... While at Crowder, Clute helped the team to the
national tournament, a No. 16 national ranking and the District
Championship ... she hit 5 home runs and was an All-Region
selection as a utility player.
High School: A four-year starter at Webb City
High School, Clute was a four-year All-Conference selection for
coach Walter Resa and the Cardinals ... She helped the team to the
2004 3A State Championship as Webb went a perfect 32-0 that season,
the first softball team in the state of Missouri to finish a season
undefeated ... Clute was a three year All-District selection,
two-year All-Region selection and was an All-State pitcher her
senior season ... Clute holds the Webb City school record for the
lowest ERA in a season.
