At Cowley County: in 2009 earned All-region VI second team and All-Jayhawk Conference honorable mention...in 2010 earned a first team All-Jayhawk Conference nod while helping Cowley County to a undefeated conference title and a fifth place finish at nationals.

In High School: from 2006-08 was a first team All-league shortstop while earning the 2007 SEK player of the year and a 2008 4A All-state shortstop...also earned first team All-league honors in basketball for the Lady Trojans in 2007-08 and in volleyball in 2007.

Personal: a criminal justice major at Southern...born January 9, 1990 in Placentia, Calif...daughter of Ross and Torri Poteat...has four siblings, Miranda, Kaylena, Sarah, and James.
