Lions Softball Alumni Weekend

We are proud to announce that our Lions Softball Alumni Weekend is set for April 6-7 as the Lions take on Emporia State and Missouri Western.  Here is an itinerary for the weekend:

Friday, April 6: Games: Lions vs. Lady Hornets, 1pm, MSSU Softball Complex.  We invite you to come out and enjoy the game.  Social: After the game, we'll gather at Gusano's Pizzeria, in the University Plaza just south of campus at 7th & Duquesne.  Nothing formal...just some Lions getting together to talk about an MSSU win!

Saturday, April 7: Games: Lions vs. Griffons, 1pm doubleheader, MSSU Softball Complex.  Prior to game one, we'll recognize this year's seniors.  In between games, we'll recognize and honor the 20th Anniversary of the 1992 national championship team.  Coach Lipira will be the honorary coach during one of the games.  Then it's game two between the Lions and Washburn.  Social: We've reserved a private room at Pitchers Restaurant/Bar located in the La Quinta Inn & Suites so we can kick back, enjoy some great food and drinks and talk about two more Lions wins.

WE WANT YOU BACK ON CAMPUS FOR THIS EVENT!  Please email gray-w@mssu.edu to let us know if you can make it.  We will be honoring the '92 Champs, so we obviously want all you champs back, but we certainly hope softball alums from other years will come back and reconnect with us.   

We're excited to honor and catch up with past Lions and to watch this year's squad in a big conference weekend.  So please mark your calendars for April 6-7 and our annual Lions Softball Alumni Weekend!
