In 2013: Making a team-high 26 appearances in the circle as a freshman, Williams led the Lions with a team-low 2.55 ERA winning a team-high nine games while throwing a team-high seven complete games, including a pair of shutouts. Making 12 starts on the year, Williams threw a pair of shutouts in wins over Northwest Missouri and Lincoln. Pitching 98.2 innings on the year, Williams struck out 47 batters while holding opponents to a .259 batting average. Williams also picked up the save in Southern's 14-13 win over Southern Nazarene at the Five State Classic. Also hit .296 from the plate making 27 plate appearances collecting eight hits with a pair of doubles while driving in five runs. Collected a season-high two hits against Rockhurst while driving in a pair of runs in a 11-3 win over #8 Central Oklahoma.
In High School: was a four year starter and letter winner for the Lady Wolves of Timberland High School in Wentzville, Mo...set the school record for most strikeouts in a season with 138 in her senior campaign while earning first team all-conference and all-district honors...also earned All -Academic all-conference selection and honorable mention her freshman year and third team all-conference her sophomore year while the Lady Wolves won two conference titles...in 2006 was part of the 12U AFA National Champions and a year later a member of the 14U ASA National Runner-up teams.
Personal: Will major in either nursing or education at Southern...daughter of Tommy and Betty Williams.
