Joplin, Mo. - The Missouri Southern softball team will play five games in Oklahoma City Saturday and Sunday. Originally scheduled to host the Teri Mathis-Zenner Memorial Softball Tournament this weekend at home, that event was cancelled due to weather, but the Lions will be able to make those games up this weekend in Oklahoma City.
Southern (8-2) will open up play Saturday with Oklahoma City University at 1 p.m., followed by a double-header with Newman (Kan.) at 3 and 5 p.m. The Lions will wrap up the weekend Sunday playing Illinois-Springfield at 2 p.m. followed by Oklahoma City at 4 p.m.
