In 2014: Killer appeared in 44 games for the Lions as a freshman starting 31 games as she led the team with a .349 batting average collecting 37 hits in 106 at-bats with eight doubles, a triple, and scored 23 runs while driving in eight RBI's...Slugged .443 and reached base at a .361 clip...Stole three bases in six attempts...Played in 22 MIAA games with 17 starts, leading the club in hitting during the MIAA season hitting .361 as she recorded 22 hits while scoring 12 runs...Recorded eight multi-hit MIAA games, including going 3-for-5 with a triple and a run scored against Washburn on April 6.
Prior to Southern: A 2013 graduate of Glenpool High School, Killer comes to Southern after being a four-year starter at centerfield/ shortstop at GHS, winning the district championship three times in 2009, 2010 and 2011. This past fall, Killer was a 2012 Class 4A Oklahoma All-State nominee. A two-time All-Conference selection in 2010 and 2011, Castoe was named Honorable mention All-Metro in 2011 where the Warriors finished the year as regional runner-up. A four-year letterwinner in softball, Killer was a member of ESPN RISE magazine in 2009. Killer also played three years of club softball for Tuff E Nuff and coach Tim Stone and Tulsa Shootout Gold coached by Tim Burton.
In addition to softball, Killer also lettered in four other sports at Glenpool becoming the only female in Glenpool High School history to letter in five sports. Killer lettered two years in basketball for coach Tony Blades playing as a freshman and senior. She also lettered two years in soccer as a junior and senior for coach Jason Nussbaum reaching the second round of the playoffs in 2012. A two-year letterwinner in track as a freshman and senior, Killer went to state as a part of the 4x100m, 4x200m and 4x400m relays a freshman in 2010. Finally, Killer lettered one year in cross country as a freshman in 2010 reaching the State Championships.
Personal: Jessica is the daughter of John and Tammy Killer and plans on majoring in kinesiology at Southern.
