At Newman: Helped lead the Jets to a 42-14 record in her two years...back-to-back Heartland Conference regular season championships and a Heartland Conference Tournament championship her sophomore year which was Newman's first ever trip to a NCAA D-II regional...scored a career-high 15 points in a 88-81 win over Texas A & M International...Played in 55 games with 49 starts in her two years with the Jets.

In High School: Starting Point Guard led Hillsboro High School (23-3) to a 3A State Title earning All-State honors as a freshman.  Transferred to Goddard High School her sophomore year leading them to a 2nd place finish at the 6A State Tournament earning all-state honors.  Her junior year suffered a hip injury so missed the end of the season.  Her senior year for the Lions averaged 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists per game taking a young team to the championship game of sub-state.  Named to the All-Tournament team at the Firebird Classic, hosted by Lawrence Free State High School; Earned First Team All-AVCTL; All-State 6A Honors; Holds Assist record at Goddard High School

Personal: A Communications major at Southern...daughter of Will and Gayla Soyez... older brother Elliot is a junior on the Lions' golf team.
