Lions fall 4-1 to Quincy

Quincy, Ill.- The Missouri Southern Lions soccer team fell 4-1 this afternoon in a non-conference battle with Great Lakes Valley Conference member Quincy University.

Striking first with a goal at the 11:37 mark of the first half, senior Megan Stueve notched her second goal of the season beating the defense up the middle to score from twelve yards out.

Unfortunately that was the only goal on the day for the Lions as they surrendered four unanswered goals to the Hawks.

The Lions are back in action Friday evening for their home opener vs Southern Nazarene University. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
