Lions fall at #9 Southwestern Oklahoma 3-0

Weatherford, Okla.- The Missouri Southern Lions soccer team fell at #9 Southwestern Oklahoma State 3-0 this afternoon.

The Bulldogs (14-0) used two first half goals to go up 2-0 at halftime.  Scoring in the 16th and 31st minutes of the first half, the Lions were only able to get off two shots in the first half.

With the Bulldogs making the game 3-0 with a goal in the 58th minute, the Lions were only able to fire off two more shots on the day. 

The Lions (3-8-2, 3-4-1) return to MIAA action next weekend when they play their last two home games of the year hosting Washburn Friday night at 7 pm and Emporia State at 2pm next Sunday for Senior Day.
