Joplin, Mo. - Missouri Southern senior forward Megan Stueve was named second-team All-Central Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Putting together one of the top individual seasons in MSSU soccer program history, Stueve was named first-team All-MIAA finishing the year with a MIAA league-leading 13 goals and 27 points, while ranking fourth in the conference with 59 shots, including 31 on goal.
Notching a MIAA-leading four-game winning goals on the year, Stueve accounted for 13 of the Lions 23 goals on the year. Finishing her career with 23 goals, 50 points and 113 shots, Stueve finished third, fourth and fifth in Lions soccer program history in goals, points and shots respectively.
The Lions finished the year with a 5-10-3 overall record, going 5-5-2 in the MIAA, before falling 4-0 at NCAA Tournament qualifer Central Oklahoma in the first round of the MIAA tournament.
