2013: Hammons played in 14 games in goal as a junior, starting seven games...Led Southern with 905 minutes played in net while having a team-low 1.59 goal against average...Made 66 saves while posting a .805 save percentage... Picked up wins at Northeastern State in a 2-0 win and played all 90 minutes in a 2-1 win at #11 Central Missouri that snapped the Jennies 48-match MIAA winning streak....Also played in goal in ties with Central Oklahoma, Fort Hays State and Lindenwood...Made a season-high 11 saves while playing all 110 minutes in a scoreless draw at home against Lindenwood...Also made 10 saves while playing the final 65 minutes in a scoreless draw at home against Central Oklahoma.

2012: Appearing in 17 games in goal for the Lions as a sophomore, starting a pair of games against Quincy and Southern Nazarene, Hammons logged nearly 855 minutes of gametime in goal making 37 saves on the year...Led the Lions with a team-low 1.79 goals against average on the year while recording a .685 save percentage. Helped the Lions preserve wins over Fort Hays State, Nebraska-Kearney, Lindenwood, and Washburn while shutting out Northwest Missouri for the final 65 minutes of gametime in a 1-0 double overtime win in Maryville.

2011: Hammons did not see action in net as a redshirt freshman for the Lions.

2010: Redshirted the 2010 campaign.

In High School: Competed four seasons in the net for the Smithville Warriors ... earned three first-team All-Conference selections and was a two-time All-District performer ... earned second-team All-State Class II honors and also received first-team nods from the St. Joseph News-Press and the Northland Sun Tribune following her junior season in 2008-09 .... has been selected as Varsity Co-Captain for the past three seasons and has helped lead the Warriors to three straight Conference championships, a District runner-up and a a State Class II runner-up finish for the 2008-09 season ... heading into her senior season, she already owns all-time career goalkeeper records in saves (537), goals allowed (54), minutes (5,584) and assists (5).
