Prior to Southern - Taylor comes to Southern from nearby Carl Junction High School where she was a three-year letter winner at midfield and forward for the Bulldogs and head coach Kevin Hauck. As a junior in 2012, Beck earned first-team All-District, All-Region and honorable mention All-State honors. This past year as a senior, Beck again earned first-team All-District, All-Region and honorable mention All-State honors. Taylor also earned a pair of letters playing shooting guard in basketball for the Bulldogs. In addition to her athletics honors, Beck was also a part of National Honor Society and an officer and vice president of FFA at CJHS. A high school teammate of fellow Lion signee Anissa Williams, Taylor played club soccer with Williams for the Pink Panthers and coach Travis Beck.

Personal - Taylor is the daughter of Russell and Deborah Beck and plans to major in nursing at Southern.
