Women's track earns three All-American honors in day one of NCAA Championships
Albuquerque, NM -- Emilie Mieseler and Ciara Lipsey both picked up All-American honors, as well as the distance medley relay team in day one of the 2010 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Mieseler threw a distance of 58-4.75 and placed seventh to pick up her second All-American honor (2009 outdoor hammer).
Lipsey placed sixth with a height of 12-2.00 to earn her third All-American honor to go with indoor and outdoor last year.
The distance medley relay team of Ashley Bunch, Cyarra Prince, Carita Riutta and Courtney Waltbillig placed fifth with a time of 11:58.91 to earn All-American status.
The Lions will have four athletes competing tomorrow with Channell Lloyd in the triple jump, Nicole Green in the shot put, Kimi Shank in the 5k and Lisa Vengels in the high jump.
