Women's track adds three All-Americans in final day of 2010 Indoors

Albuquerque, NM - The Missouri Southern women's track and field team picked up three more All-Americans today in the final day of the 2010 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships. 

Channell Lloyd in the triple jump, Nicole Green in the shot put and Kimi Shank in the 5k all earned All-American honors today. 

Lloyd finished fourth in the triple jump with a distance of 40-05.00. It's a new personal best for Lloyd and was just two inches off of the Southern record held by Tongula Walker. 

Green added nearly three feet to her personal best with a heave of 48-09.50 and placed fourth in the shot put. 

Shank placed sixth in the 5k with a time of 17:26.49. In other action, Lisa Vengles placed 10th in the high jump. 

The Lions, as a team, finished 10th overall with 21.5 points. 

Southern will have a week off before heading south to compete in the Florida State University Relays on March 27 and 28.
