Emporia, Kan. -- The Missouri Southern women's track and field team picked up three provisionals in its final tune-up before the 2010 Outdoor Nationals as the Lions competed at the Emporia State Last Chance today.
Courtney Waltbillig won the 1,500 meters with a provisional time of 4:36.10, while Ashley Bunch finished fifth in the event.
Nicole Green and Emilie Mieseler both picked up provisionals as Green was second in the shot with a distance of 44-07.75 and Mieseler was seventh at 170-09.
Lisa Vengels won the high jump with a height of 5-05, while Carita Riutta was fifth in the 800m. Channell Lloyd was fifth in the long jump and Jill Weeks placed sixth in the javelin.
The Lions will be back in action on May 27-29 when they compete at the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Charlotte, North Carolina.
