Prior to Southern: Aurora High School – Weldon was a four-year letterwinner at Aurora for coach Kris Besch where she was a sprinter after qualifying for the state cross country meet as a freshman ... on the track, she was a state qualifier in the 4x800m and 4x400m relays in both 2008 and 2009, while qualifying for the 4x4, the 100m, 200m and 400m in 2010 ... she was the district champ in the 4x800m relay and the 400m this past year, while winning the 200m, 400m and 4x400 at the conference meet this year, as well.
