Rachel Olinyk named to All-MIAA Squad

Kansas City, Mo. -- Missouri Southern senior middle blocker Rachel Olinyk has been named to the the All-MIAA squad as announced by the league office today. 

Olinyk a 5-10 native of Moorpark, California was a third-team selection this season after being named honorable mention All-MIAA last year, as well as an All-Region selection. 

This year, Olinyk led the Lions and ranked fourth in the MIAA in kills per set with 3.25, while leading the Lions with a .253 attack average. Her 24 kills against Pittsburg State at home this year were the second-most in a single match in the MIAA this season.

A season ago, her 88 block assists ranked ninth all-time in a single season at Southern and she finished her career with 674 kills, a .270 attack percentage, 114 digs and 14 blocks.
