Lions volleyball falls at home to No. 5 Nebraska-Kearney, 3-0

Joplin, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern volleyball team dopped a three-set match tonight at home to fifth-ranked Nebraska-Kearney. Individual set scores were 10-25, 15-25 and 11-25. 

The Lions (0-23, 0-11 MIAA) were led offensively by Payton Graves with six kills and a .545 attack average. Sydney Potts had ten assists, while Danielle Severns had a match-high 11 digs. 

UNK (23-2, 9-1 MIAA) had three in double-figure kills led by 13 from Katie Sokolowski. Jenna Rouzee dished out 31 assists. 

The Lions out blocked UNK 6-4, led by three from Graves and Aleisha Joyce

Southern will be back in action on October 23 with a match at Central Missouri. First serve is slated for 7 pm.
