2012: Finished 45th overall at the Missouri S&T Jackling Jocks Invite where she helped the Lions finish third place as a team where she covered the 5k course in 20:17.26...Ran at the MIAA Championships where she finished 84th overall helping the Lions win the conference championship.

2011: Hutsell did not compete in any races in 2011.

High School: Ran track and cross country at Willow Springs High School for coach Chris Waggoner. A four-year letter winner in cross country and track, she also participated in basketball at Willow Springs. An All-District and All-Conference selection, Hutsell was a four-time All-State selection in cross country and holds the school records for the 1600 meters, 3200 meters and the 5k.

Personal: The daughter of Derrick and Cindy Hutsell, Kelsie hopes to major in special education at Southern.
